Bebe Rexha delivers supercharged new single ’Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)’

Bebe Rexha has officially released her highly anticipated new single ’Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)’ and it is a guaranteed pop-dance anthem.

Teased last month on the Coachella main stage, Bebe Rexha showed those watching that she is one of the best artists and voices we have in the industry. The catchiness of ’Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)’ quickly became a social media sensation that had many eagerly awaiting Rexha to release it. Now, the time has come for the world to hear, and it is one of the best dance tracks that has been put out so far this year.

Coming after her successful third studio album, Bebe, which featured multiple global hits, this track had a lot of expectations to live up to, and it has exceeded every one of them. ’Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)’ is proof of how dominant Rexha can be in the dance music space. The track starts with a simple house-inspired hi-hat pattern that is coupled with a groovy synth progression that will get you moving. Then comes Rexha’s vocals, which are as stunning as ever, with a graceful verse. But then the tone gets a little dark, and the energy picks up as a bassline is introduced, beginning the build-up to the drop. The drop itself doesn’t try to be over the top or complex. The energy on this track goes from 0-100 in an instant (just like the cars featured in the music video). It is an exhilarating ride that is the perfect follow-up to all the success Rexha had last year.
