Peggy Gou releases vibrant new single ’Lobster Telephone’

Peggy Gou continues to dominate the electronic world as she continues the rollout of her debut album by releasing her newest single, ’Lobster Telephone.’

There are not many names in the industry that are as talked about currently as the name Peggy Gou. Over the past two years, she has captured the imagination of audiences worldwide with unforgettable shows and incredibly successful music. She now returns with her newest track, ’Lobster Telephone,’ off her upcoming debut album, and it is an absolute blast.

With a perfect distillation of the music that Gou has become synonymous with, this track is one of Gou’s favorites of the album. Named after the Salvador Dali sculpture, ’Lobster Telephone’ embodies a playful spirit. The upbeat tempo will get you out of your chair, and the Korean lyrics are a unique touch from Gou. In the beginning, you hear a bright melody that sets the tone of the entire song and is meant to put a smile on your face. While you are listening closely to the Korean lyrics, don’t forget to listen closely to the fun of the bassline as it dances within its own lane. The percussion is also a highlight of the track, as you’ll hear thundering hits every so often in the track. Then, once you get to the end, Gou has some more fun as she creates a melody using vocal chops that drive home the playfulness of the track.

’Lobster Telephone’ grows the anticipation for the debut album even more as it proves that Gou is one of the most creative producers in the industry. She is always finding a way to keep the listener engaged. There is no telling what we will get on June 7th, but it will without a doubt be a lot of fun.
