Bob Sinclar releases Digane EP with Sofiya Nzau

Bob Sinclar and Sofiya Nzau release Digane EP, a 10 track Afro House collective

It’s been almost two months since Bob Sinclar and Sofiya Nzau published the track “Digane”, now they’re back and release Digane EP.

They released the melodic and summery vibes track “Digane” on 10 May. Sofiya Nzau, the Kenyan-born singer and songwriter makes Digane pop with her uplifting vocals. Sofiya Nzau’s name may be familiar from somewhere, as her beautiful voice is featured in one of 2023’s big hits named “Mwaki”, on which she collaborated with Zerb. She recently decided to release an EP with legendary French House producer and DJ Christophe Le Friant, AKA Bob Sinclar. The two collaborated on “Digane EP” and produced it under the Yellow Productions label. For this project, several other people joined in to create better and better remixes. One of them is REMIND, a French-born composer and sound designer who has worked with several international artists. And then the Italian duo Dual Beat, consisting of Antony Fennel and Roberto Lopez, appears.

The tracks on the almost 37-minute long EP have undergone a lot of reimagining and they released it as a 10-track collective. Although numerous remixes appeared, they kept the original direction as an Afro-House EP. As Sofiya Nzau’s vocal is the flagship of the original track, it of course remains unchanged, adding a lot to the experience. They have also given room to TikTok trends, with a slowed-down and a sped-up version on the EP. They also added an extended version, although they included it in the May release. Arthur Remond, aka REMIND, the Afro House signature artist contributed a REMIND remix to the list of the best and best. Dual Beat added a sunset mix to the soundtrack, adding to the late-hour atmosphere over the “Digane” track.
