Armin van Buuren unveils ‘A State of Trance Ibiza 2024’: A decade of legendary Ibiza mix albums

Armin van Buuren has once again captured the magic of Ibiza,

releasing the tenth installment of his celebrated A State of Trance mix album series. Dropping just days before the launch of his five-show summer residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza, this latest edition solidifies a decade of iconic Ibiza-inspired music.

Titled A State of Trance Ibiza 2024 (Mixed by Armin van Buuren), the album delivers a three-part exploration of Ibiza’s diverse musical landscape. The mix effortlessly guides listeners through the island’s unique atmosphere, from the tranquil shores to the pulsating nightclubs. The album features three distinct sections: On The Beach, In The Club, and Who’s Afraid Of 138?!. This division not only showcases the multifaceted sounds of Ibiza but also reflects the island’s vibrant and varied music scene. The compilation features forty-two tracks, with contributions from renowned artists such as Agents Of Time, Aly & Fila, David Forbes, Gabry Ponte, Heløwed, Joris Voorn, KI/KI, and Mauro Picotto, among others.

Reflecting on his connection to Ibiza, Armin van Buuren shared, “Ibiza has always been close to my heart. Even after so many years, I continue to discover new reasons to fall in love with the island. It’s more than just a hub for fresh music; it’s a place where unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships are made. Marking ten years of these Ibiza-themed albums is truly special. Many of the tracks on this album are fresh from my sets, and I’m excited to share them right before my residency begins. I hope everyone enjoys it!”
