Armin van Buuren and Rob Swire combine on electrifying release ‘Sound of You’

Armin van Buuren and Rob Swire are defying expectations with this ground-shaking hit ‘Sound of You,’ as premiered at last years edition of Tomorrowland.

Kicking off Miami Music Week with a bang, Armin van Buuren has roped in Rob Swire (of Pendulum and Knife Party fame) for an unexpected yet explosive and highly requested collaboration, ‘Sound of You.’ Just ahead of his anticipated performances at Ultra Miami this weekend, this track has come at the perfect time.

Although Armin van Buuren and Rob Swire belong to vastly different genres, its this fusion of two worlds that makes ‘Sound of You’ that extra bit special. Giving us that progressive house feel, it delivers us Armin’s spellbinding soundscapes with Swire’s hypnotic and iconic voice, and with that winning formula the pair truly cannot lose. It also marks the vocalist’s first feature on a track in many years outside of his own projects, and he could not have chosen a better producer to work with.

Aside from this original version that is already proving to be a massive hit with fans, Armin premiered a drum & bass version of the track at Tomorrowland last year, and if his recent Instagram post where he states “keep your eyes out…maybe some other surprises are on the way 🤫” is anything to go by, we may be also seeing that version in the form of a remix or VIP very soon.

Whether its this version you can listen to below or here, or the awaited drum & bass version, its clear that Armin and Rob Swire have struck gold, and we can expect this to be one of the anthems to define the year.
