Fred again.. de retour avec Baby Keem avec leavemealone

Tiens, ça faisait un bon petit mois et demi que nous n’avions pas eu de nouvelles de Fred again.. !




En effet, le 13 octobre dernier, notre Fredo sortait ‘ten’ en collaboration avec Jozzy, qui faisait elle-même suite à la merveilleuse ‘adore u’, désormais un carton planétaire La communication de l’artiste est riche, et demeure spontanée. Aussi, dès que nous sommes tombés sur l’extrait suivant, nous avons très vite été impatients :

Déjà entendu à ses récents concerts, nous avions hâte de sa sortie. C’est désormais chose faite : Fred Gibson nous propose ‘leavemealone’, un morceau qui sample deux tracks de Baby Keem (crédité) : South Africa (instru et acapella) & Bullies. Le British transforme deux morceaux rap en une création survitaminée, qui contraste avec la zénitude de ‘ten’. En effet, nous atterrissons sur un morceau aux grosses connotations drum’n’bass, taillé pour les concerts ainsi que les grosses soirées. Il semble que ce morceau trouvera sa place dans USB, la compilation utilisée par Fred again.. pour ses tracks plus orientées club. De notre côté, on adore : c’est simple, bien produit, rythmé … un petit banger pour conclure l’année 2023 comme il faut !
