Hardwell & Outsiders unleash the harder styles on ‘Falling In Love’

Hardwell & Outsiders unleash the harder styles on ‘Falling In Love’

Hardwell’s long-awaited return to the harder styles is finally upon us. In his latest collaborative work with his good friend Outsiders, the pair have sampled Elvis Presley’s iconic Can’t Help Falling In Love.

Hardwell has always shown nothing but love for the harder styles in his sets and interviews. In the past, he has had immense success delving into that particular scene. His collaborations with WildstylezSub Zero Project, and Dr. Phunk have cemented Hardwell as a cult figure in hardstyle. In his latest deep dive into hardstyle, Outsiders is his latest collaborator. The pair have sampled Elvis Presley’s evergreen hit Can’t Help Falling In Love and the result is their debut joint work Falling In Love.

Serving as one of the highlights of both artists’ sets, Falling In Love quickly found a place in the hearts of fans and listeners. It has been featured as one of the closing tracks in Hardwell sets ever since he debuted it at Tomorrowland 2023. The track chooses not to be a groundbreaking production. Instead, it’s an ode to the beloved euphoric hardstyle sound many people cherish these days, despite the scene being heavily shifted towards rawstyle and uptempo. The main melody of Falling In Love follows the melody of the vocals. Once again, Hardwell Outsiders’ production expertise is put on display yet again. Crunchy kicks and vigorous synths soar through the entirety of the track.

Hardwell has enjoyed great success with his hardstyle releases. The remix he did for The Chainsmokers’ Don’t Let Me Down in 2016 counts more than 74 million streams on Spotify, whereas his collaboration with Wildstylez KiFi is on more than 32 million streams. Those numbers for sure are pretty rare to see in hardstyle. Some of the confirmed upcoming Hardwell hardstyle releases are his rework of Cambodia and a collaboration with Atmozfears. We surely can’t wait for those.

Hardwell Outsiders’ debut collaboration Falling In Love is out now on Revealed Recordings and you can listen to it down below.
